As a part of the drive launched by the state authorities to get forest land vacated from unlawful occupants, the Forest Division has received vacated 88 acres in Mehandipur and Thathiala villages falling beneath the Nawanshahr forest division.

Satinder Singh, Divisional Forest Officer, Nawanshahr, mentioned as a part of the drive initiated by the Forest and Wildlife Division in opposition to unlawful occupants, it received demarcated its land ‘Complete Survey Station’ (digital measurement).
